What if your triggers weren't so triggering?

Hi Reader -

What are your biggest triggers? You know, the ones that seem to show up again and again, no matter how much work you’ve done? I have struggled with my own set of triggers for a long time. A few months ago, during a family interaction that would have historically sent me spiraling, I sat there stunned. For the first time ever, I wasn’t triggered by this particular situation. There was no emotional charge. No reaction. It was as if the file for my usual response had been deleted from my brain. It felt like magic, but it wasn’t...It was breathwork.

Breathwork has been the most powerful tool I’ve ever experienced for softening—and in some cases completely dissolving—my triggers. The lifelong patterns that used to hijack my emotions and derail my peace are softening in stunning ways.

Imagine if your own triggers were softer or even disappeared altogether:

  • The person who used to bother you doesn’t anymore.
  • The pattern that used to frustrate you loses its grip.
  • The shame spiral that used to pull you under never even starts.

In this week’s podcast episode, I share how breathwork is transforming my triggers and raising my emotional baseline. If you’ve ever felt stuck in a cycle of reacting, blaming yourself, or retreating, this episode is for you. You’ll learn:

  • Why triggers keep pulling you back to the same old patterns.
  • How breathwork can help you rewrite those patterns without reliving the painful story.
  • The difference between meditation and breathwork—and why combining them is so powerful.

Breathwork isn't about fixing anything about yourself. It’s about softening. Softening your reactions, your judgements, your heart—and discovering the freedom and peace that are already inside you.

As Richard Rudd beautifully says, “Enlightenment is a series of softenings.” What could your life look like if you softened, too?
You are a creator. Now go Co Create something great.

Delightfully,

brooke

P.S. Ready to experience a breathwork session for yourself? April's live session is now open for registration. If you can't join live, I send a replay available for 21 days (though I would love to see you in person ;)
